goodbye 2006~

i'm moving to a "new blog" to welcome the new year.

trish + lian / isetan sales

wah shuxuan pangseh keep pushing back our date!!! keke

that day went back hall, end up missed an outing with hui and kel... =C

and i just went out with trisha and yuelian! long long time nv see the 2 of them. yuelian lost weight. trisha still as crazy. hahaha trisha aka taotao got dinner tt night. the theme was mambo and attire recommended was smart. the moment i reached she broke the news tt she needed help to find sth to fit the occasion.

stunner. so we trio walked around wisma b4 proceeding to taka where yuelian found a present for her auntie karen. and lunch! god i was famished. dumb me went to suggest food court which was like crowded until no place to sit already. so we went to find the benches outside the food court to sit. heng heng within less than 5 minutes we managed to get one for the 3 of us to squeeze into. we had the japanese fried noodles trish recommended. i think it was average, as in edible lor. maybe cos i dun have enuf of the sauce to go tog.

after lunch we practically walked finished isetan wisma plus taka wheelock tangs. then managed to find a nice hot pink tank top for taotao at potpourri. ah lian had to leave early so made a few detours to buy the necessary food she need to bring home. really is a very good daughter, my idol. after lian go back trish and me . at first say want find taotao a belt but like nth suitable so we just continue to shop around aimlessly.

then ahtingjie say she coming orchard also to exchange sth she bought ytd which is unsuitable. so i met up with her aft she got the receipt from eugenia. then we headed over to isetan scotts to find karen. borrowed her voucher to enter isetan (it was a closed sale). goodness it was crazy inside. people mountain people sea. somemore there are people who buy things like they're free.

my first experience of isetan sales. it was a turn off. it is a tough enough job trying to walk among the crowd and people chiong-ing at the offer items. plus u need to chiong urself, in the end i also quite lazy to shop. the session ended with 2 tops 1 skirt and 1 dress. the exchange for mummy ended up cnt find size so i got a size for myself. man even paying also damn long queue.

karen left with her sisters. dinner was subway plus pasta mania. ahtingjie's treat again. teeheehee~ anyway when i was queuing for subway, got 2 girls in front of me. they bought 2 one-foot sub for the price of 1 one-foot plus 1 six-inch. not fair... just because 1 of them flirted with the guy behind the counter. i got mine for the price my sub was worth. humpf~

at the end of the day really damn tired. had been shopping since morning, my legs were about to give way. my virgin leg muscle ache because of shopping.

xmas eve

xmas eve went hougang mall for awhile. woah i saw someone buy one whole trolley of sunshine bread loaves!!! i was so stunned. what can someone do with so many bread? hmm... sorry i couldn't contain my curiosity and took a shot of that trolley. hope no privacy was invaded.

jazzonova

woah friday night went to meet mel ben jiejie and zj for JAZZANOVA performed by the ite jazz band. i think they were good. and the conductor, Eric James Watson really is quite some big shot too. He composed and directed the Singapore National Day Parade. they played some really good pieces and i personally loved the Opus One piece by them.

we were sitting directly behind the principal of ite college west... then he had a 地中海 so we were having some fun ourselves making a joke out of him, which i admit was quite bad of us. ehmm i was sitting between zj and mel then before the concert started they keep bullying me. =C humpF! until my bag dropped then my phone dropped to under the seat of the principal.
aye i caught someone playing games on my handphone in the middle of the concert. hiahiahia~

prata supper

heeeheee went for jalan kayu supper with xueyi aka gerlynn nowadays. had to lie to mummy say someone driving us around so that she will allow me to go and not be worried. ermmm i asked zj along so she also got another guy fren yikai along. walked all the way from my house to her house. quite stupid la. should have take a bus first. so by the time we reached her place 1hr already gone. haha den halfway still have to call her to ask for directions. then we waited awhile for yikai before we set out to walk to jln kayu for prata~~~ and it was another hour when we finally reach the prata shop!!!
xueyi don't usually eat supper, so i very honoured to have her ask me out for prata supper. hmmmm we had a kosong and an egg each except for yikai who had cheese and kosong. then all four of us share another plate of mee goreng. uber full after eating sia.
funny thing was we saw a guy buying indian rojak when we about to leave. he was picking the rojak ingredients from the left side to a tray on the right. but the glass door on the right wasn't open so he kinda like bua the fish cake on the glass door before he realise it. xueyi and me started laughing at him =X bet he heard. because he turned around and said "what i'm tired okay..." LOL
then it started drizzling so the 4 of us sat at the nearby bus stop and wait for the drizzle to subside. wasn't too long before the rain stopped. so we proceeded to walk home. we realise there was a shortcut to the nearest LRT stop and an even shorter way for me to walk home from der. so me and xueyi walked seperate ways back =C lucky got yikai pei her.

ktv frog

finally relieve my ktv deprived pressure liao... wahahaha early in the morning got woken up by daddy to go breakfast after which ahtingjie and me went for klunch. damn there was no queue today but shortly after we went in i saw a lot more ppl walking past our room to theirs. so business shouldn't be too bad la. anw both ahtingjie and me sing until quite cmi think out of touch liao. too long never go karaoke le... so very rusty in the vocals and we sang like we were croaking... okay okay okay... not we but ME. OH NO~ now i shall become "wangwang - the retarded frog!" i got sore throat la... but heart itchy cannot stand the temptation so still went ahead with the plan to go sing song.

the same old problem haunted me again today... that is i went to the toilet... then i forget i came from which direction or which room... so after relieving myself i came out stunned. started to look left look right look left. took my first step then walk back again and turned the other direction. continue to look left and right before i saw a familiar brown jacket inside the room croaking. lucky manage to find my room. i'm a direction idiot. >_<"

aiyoyoyo~ got a very cute dolphin extinct liao... check it out here... wasted sia... the dolphin in the picture really damn cute lor. then it reminded me of a movie i just watched recently with jian.

hmmm in the show the emperor penguins were losing their food source because Man was overfishing in the vicinity of their habitat. geez the effort Mumble had to go to to make his own kind understand the existence of us. it kinda changed the perspective towards modern conservation efforts. although the producers brought the show out in a family oriented style with lots of antics, i feel that their purpose might be greater. that is to make audiences aware of such problems going on in the world today. i hope the porpoise won't end up like the dolphin "baiji"....

forgot to mention... hui kel and mel gave me a sling bag from project shop as bdae present... keke though it's one month later. somemore they keep suaning say what only giving me the carrier. the bag inside is their's and what i am the only one who carry the bag and still look uncool. booohooo! but still i like the bag alot. haha thanks guys!!! got new bag le!!!








hmmm just now was figuring out how to use the new beta blogger... then i think think i still prefer the old blogger leh. like more user friendly although the new one got more things to play around with. sucks now i wonder how to downgrade liao... going to create a new blog for the new year... then this blog will become another part of my history liao. the archive list is getting sooooo long.

today a bit too high liao... ma ciam siao char bo lidat. hahahaha but it's nice to be happy lar! feel more fresh and alive. maybe because the weekend is near. or maybe i got to catch up with alot of friends. either or i don't mind being high everyday.

meet up with old friends...

went out with the old gang today... at first still quite scared what it will be like because also very long never meet up with hui and kel le. =X so guilty... but then it turned out fine anyway. although everytime the 4 of us meet up i will be the one to kena suan... booohoooo~ 被欺负！ by mel kel n hui~! so not fair... why always i'm the one to kena tekan one.

too bad mel and me sore throat only can eat bland and soupy stuff so end up eat at the food court upstairs. end up our bowls' content got only one color, while hui and kel still look very colorful. haha and notti kel played with her food! tsk tsk~

kinda remind me of ekin's song 老友万岁... because i really feel bad for not asking them out for so long. on top of that i kind of neglected kel too. aft so long then know that in the end she got register for uni. =( i'm a sucky friend ba... but then in the end the meet up was still an enjoyable one. just to catch up on wad's going on in each other's lives... the sad thing is i forgot to take pictures!!! a bit wasted but still it was good to see them again.

ah mel and me playing with $2 notes before hui and kel find us... the serial number last 4 digits happen to be nice nice one.

last Sunday was my grandma's (aka ahma) birthday... that's my ahma in the picture above. still can't express herself but she looks happy to see everyone gather for her birthday. but she acted a bit stubborn and is eating so little...

Keke ben borrow rag den in e end have to help mel n me clean our room's fan which had gotten really dirty aft 6 mths. This is e pail of water used to rinse e rag! From clear to totally black. Yucks! Anw thx alot ben!

VSA camp 2006

Tuesday:
the orientation day for VSA camp. yucky cos Mel and Jiejie got assigned to the same grp (Pinocchio) while i kena ostracize (to Snow White). then it so happened that the peeps in my grp all came tog and the only girl, who is not from the clique, is 3 yrs younger than me, comes from integrated program and behaves much more mature than me.
then during the talks we were introduced to more on the behavioural patterns of children with Down syndrome and autism. listen until very sleepy but made me worried wad if i cannot handle the child (autistic) assigned to me... the speaker, she mention sensory overload and stuffs like that.

Wednesday:
the first day of camp where we meet the kids. was still nervous and i too gan jeong already. hitch daddy's car end up reach at 815 when we were supposed to reach at 9. then i end up zor bo walk ard the school explore like a zombie (also because not enough sleep). took some pictures of the school wall decoration...

then very early Zhan Xin's mother brought him in. so i asked the routine qn we were taught to ask: is he allergic or sensitive to anything? then his mum also like in a rush to move off. that's abt all i asked.

Thursday:
today i actually looked forward to gg camp. haha though feeling sleepy but the spirit is there. anyway Zhan Xin was nicer today when i met him. he's answering a lot more of my questions and showing more positive response than ytd.
but then suddenly just before we were waiting at the canteen for the bus to the botanic garden, he suddenly walked very fast towards the bus and it was drizzling... goodness. it took hell lot of effort to finally coax him back to the canteen. i had to suffer one long scratch on my arm. thanks to TY if not i really dunno how to talk him into gg back to the canteen. he was using his whole body weight to push me.
cos botanic garden very near town... so we left direct from there for dinner. we went to Taka de mos burger with Jiejie, Mel, Jian and new friend BoonTat... =X after that accompany ah Mel go her usual hang out (Kinokuniya and HMV) before we left for home... fell asleep on the train. so bad. ah mel alighted at kovan never tell me. den i wake up she already gone le. )'=

Friday:
well think woke up on the wrong side of the bed today so quite moody. on the bus with the IP girl from Snow White then i also never talk. a bit anti-social. bad bad WangWang. today got more response from Zhan Xin in the morning but after that in the afternoon he suddenly become very moody and keep complaining about headache. keep walking around the classroom in circles too. i became very dizzy and got headache also. try to stop him end up head got worse. so i resorted to sitting down and jus let him roam since he's not doing any harm to the rest. had some trouble getting him to eat his dinner as he don't take fried rice... coaxing didn't work. help from Jiejie and TY before got him to stop his tantrum and eat hotdog bun.
i learnt today the bus that he likes to draw is called a spy bus. and i used that to coax him into making a shirt for his play (Sam the crumpled tee boy) and actually joining in the play.

Afterthought:
autistic children look so normal it is impossible to differentiate them from the rest of us. some of them are so cute... but i wonder what will it be like when they grow up. is it really a lifetime thing for their parents to take care of them? 3 days only and i am so tired, then their parents everyday also have to take care of them, isn't that even more tiring? i do hope science will be able to discover the cause of autism soon. only then can we find a cure.
i also happen to notice that the participants for this camp mostly come from well to do or above average families. more efforts should be put in to raise awareness among the lower-income families too. i encountered a few snob kids who are siblings to the children. so what if they are without disabilities, they forget to be humble.
