blood donation drive / singapore chinese orchestra / korean thingy / random stuffs

blood donation drive

Next week there is a blood donation drive at school. we were discussing about it when Cindy suddenly say i don't have above 45kg cannot donate blood. heeheehee and there i was so happy telling them i am above 45. then i came home today and weighed myself... i lost a few kilograms... hope i can still donate blood. last time always no one want to accompany me go donate blood together. this year manage to find kaki already can go liao~!

Forgot what's my blood type liao, but ah mel say O- very rare. i thought i was O- initially but now i'm not sure. last last yr went to check before but i forgot liao. STM (short term memory)... i just pray that i can donate la... so eager to try it man. oh ya! haha Pam actually tried to donate before then her blood stopped flowing halfway through the session. lol and the doctors/nurses present all panick. bleurgh~ the half packet of Pam's blood got thrown away in the end. they should have just let her infuse it back even better right... so wasted!

singapore chinese orchestra

today SCO came to ntu auditorium to perform... i was very interested because of shuxuan's influence, so i went down to watch and it so happened that huiqi was also an ex-CO member. she was quite glad to accompany down so we went and sat there to watch. due to some other reasons, mel decided to come along too with benny, liyan and nicole. lol then the 2 of us reached there quite early and had to chop seats for mel's gang whom came late as they were having lunch before that. we were like drop dead embarrassed as people came in and keep asking if there was anyone sitting on the seats we were chopping. haha so i had to call mel and kind of pressed her to reach faster. whooops~!

anyways the performance was really very professional. as compared to that time our guitar syf, i feel like a big fool, embarrassing myself in front of the judges. their volume control was damn good. the auditorium was so huge and they did not render help from any microphones at all to project their music. gosh it was an eye-opener really. made me itching to pick up piano again. and that reminds me how poor i would be if i were to take up piano lessons... oh no~~~~

korean thingy

oh man! that day some friend of a friend mentioned that koreans start going for facial at the age of 13, inclusive of both boys and girls, because it is part of their custom. sia la... no wonder u see all their complexion so flawless maciam tofu like that. so jealous... recently i got a lot of pimples popping on my face to remind me i'm still in my youth. then i also starting to watch this korean show dunno what gong what one la... but the story is about a prince got betrothed to his enemy classmate. then in the end they fell in love that kind of stuff and the political matters in their palace. hmmm... prince charming wor. a real prince. but not handsome. only complexion damn good nia.

random stuffs

today is mid-autumn festival. previous years usually i would be out playing with candles on this special night. but tonight the air ain't that good because of the haze and there is no one to accompany me to play candles le. last year that one already flew to london liao... so sian. i was thinking about bringing sparklers to play at hall. hmmm...? will people laugh at us childish? anyways the haze is damn bad. i can't even make out very well the building opposite my block from my corridor. and it is only one small road across not too far. damn and when i tried to take pictures using my camera phone it turned out very bad also. (no cable at home... to upload pitures when i return to hall. use handphone blog scarli turn out to cost a lot...) it is really jialat loh. i take can only see the fog sia. so happening. oh and i can't find the moon just now when i was determining how bad the haze was.

btw ivan is cooking rice now and he anyhow added a random amount of water to cook the rice. also he is chopping (not cutting) carrots and shaving (not peeling) potatoes... to me it sounds like he is chopping someone else's fingers and shaving their hair. i bet the rice will turn out burnt too. i'm feeling worried for his housemates' stomachs tonight... goodness gracious~!
